Under the COVID-19 Protection Framework, Totally Tarawera requires all passengers on our boats, people staying at our glamping site, or staying at the DOC Hot Water Beach Camp to be double vaccinated.

The Totally Tarawera Team has undertaken a full risk analysis for COVID-19 and as a result of this analysis we have decided to introduce the ‘No Vaccination, No trip or Stay’. This will apply to  guests 12 yrs and over, from 5 December 2021.

This decision has been made to protect the health and safety of fellow passengers, visitors, guests staying at our glamping site and the Hot Water Beach Camp site, as well as our staff.

Our booking system will require you to confirm that you are double vaccinated before your booking will be completed and then upon arrival to board our boats or stay people 12yrs and over will be asked to scan or show the official proof of vaccination, as well as a form of ID. If you are unable to comply with this policy at this time, please contact us to move or cancel your booking. Your options will be to either transfer your booking to later date or receive a full refund.
