Enjoy a full day boating adventure on Lake Tarawera that includes a freedom walk to the stunning Tarawera Falls, a visit to the geothermal of Hot Water Beach and then a rewarding soak in a beautiful natural bush hot pool.
Your skipper- guide will share with you along your journey, the fascinating history and stories of the indigenous Maori people of this area, including the many places of significance to them.
TIMING:
9:00am Depart The Landing, Lake Tarawera by boat.
9:25am Arrive Tapahoro/Tarawera Outlet
3.5hr walk to the Tarawera Falls return to Tapahoro/Tarawera Outlet Jetty.
1:30pm Depart Tapahoro/Tarawera Outlet
2:00pm Arrive Hot Water Beach for short stop to view the geothermal
2:10pm Depart Hot Water Beach
2:15pm Arrive Wairua Stream – Natural Hot Pool in the bush.
3:00pm Depart Wairua Stream for The Landing, Lake Tarawera.
3:30pm Arrive and disembark at The Landing, Lake Tarawera
